Tolmie State Park

Three of the boys,Panzer & I took the morning to head to Tolmie State Park for some beach time. We all enjoyed the sunshine & sand! The boys worked hard on some sand castles while I threw Panzer his Frisbee over & over & over again! He never got tired of splashing around after that thing! After a couple hours we washed off & enjoyed our picnic lunch before we headed home. All the other families we encountered just loved Panzer & his Frisbee antics. We would throw the Frisbee & it would sometimes crash into the sand before he reached it in the air. It would suction down into the sand he he would dig & whine furiously to get that Frisbee! We all laughed so hard & it kept us all entertained.

I just love days like this morning where the outdoors becomes our classroom. We found more sand dollars then we ever have in the past. A couple of live crabs as well as dead. Clams all over the place! It was so fun exploring it all & watching the excitement on the boys faces. Today is one for the memory books & I can't wait for another adventure soon.

Now for your entertainment, Panzer will try to get his Frisbee from the mean old sand monster! The video just doesn't do it justice at how funny it was to watch him fling sand everywhere trying to get his toy.

Birthdays & Birthmarks

Happy Birthday to my baby boy Jacob. I can hardly believe nine years ago today you where born. It really does seem just like yesterday we where bringing you home from Madigan & you where the smallest of the four boys we had been blessed with. They delivered you a week early because I had been contracting for quite some time & they thought you would be as big as your brothers. Boy where we surprised when this little peanut came into the world at 11:15PM on June 13, 2002. I remember asking the doctors if something was wrong because you where only 7llbs 2 OZ. They laughed & said this is what a "normal' size right on time baby looks like- WOW!! You where so cute & looked just like your older brothers. Daddy could hardly wait to hold you & I could hardly wait to finally eat! I am so happy God decided we needed one more little boy to complete our family. To be Jeremy's protector, fishing buddy,& best friend. You amaze us everyday with your zealous love for life & anything challenging! You sure don't let anyone tell you "You can't do that your to small!". Watch out- because you prove them wrong everytime! We love you & we hope God sees fit to let us celebrate many more years of your life together.

Thank you for being so understanding that we have to take Jeremy into Madigan today for a Laser surgery & eye exam under anesthesia. As you said " mom we already had my party so it's ok as long as you still cook my  chicken for dinner." It made me realize what a wonder, kind, caring little boy you are turning into.

Brotherly Love....NOT

Not a lot going on this week to post about so I haven't done much blogging. This video clip was sent to me on Mother's Day & it made me laugh so hard! I can totally seeing this take place in a few years in my home. I know the boys "love" eachother, but some days it's hard to tell. But when it comes to taking pictures, making cards, showing me they love me - they always try. That is way with out further ado, I share the following video. That all you moms out their can truly appreciate the effort your children make to show "brotherly love"-HAHA!!
